S.C.U.M.
Digital card design for Scantilty Glad Theatre’s play S.C.U.M.
Scantily Glad Theatre is a feminist and queer company from Saskatoon that creates original theatre which tackles important socio-political issues as well as tells female-driven and queer stories.
The play SCUM is based on Valerie Solanas’ Manifesto (Society for Cutting Up Men) suggesting that in order for women to be truly liberated, they must overthrow the government and exterminate the male sex. Juxtaposed with the story of two women navigating the trendy world of modern feminism, SCUM takes a playful look at radicalism, feminists, and the wild life of the woman who shot pop-art legend Andy Warhol
